Unit Goal
The students will be introduced to fairy tales and puppet shows as forms of storytelling during medieval times. After analyzing
work of art from the Middle Ages the students will create a mixed media puppet that represents a character from a fairy tale.
Before creating the puppets students will work in groups and read selected fairy tales which were told during the Middle Ages.
The students will perform a puppet show based on a fairy tale.
